Not too heavy & hot but still plenty enough weight for shoulders and collar to keep shape without sagging or drooping like some cheapo fake leather rag. I am comfortable wearing it in mild temperatures. I am 6'2 at 215lbs and 35' waist - the XLG fits me nicely.I got the black, diamond/quilted yolk style. I wanted something similar to a motorcycle jacket without going over-the-top 'Fonz' if you know what I mean. Zipper is backward but I manage. Overall, the garment suites me fine as a light jacket that goes well with jeans - very satisfied.
